Hard to believe that gaming generates more revenue than Television, Film and Music industries combined. That means big shows, baby. The League of Legends World Championship took place at the Chase Center Arena in San Fransisco this past weekend. This is a gaming competition that toured Mexico City, New York City, Atlanta then San Francisco. All in big arenas. The production was insane – we did the exterior podcast area and big activation. That's our trip – custom, difficult stuff for big events. Smash success thanks to Chris and his crew of geniuses - It rained a bit, but whatevs – we handled it. Thanks to ConCom and Riot Games for including us!

Our boy Charles graduated in the middle of the gross Pandemic when no one was working, but a year later he was the General Manager of The Roxy Theater on Sunset. Amazing - running the joint at 23. Now Olivia has graduated (this year), and at 22 was on the Late Show this week with Will Arnett. She is working full time as a stylist and is rubbing noses and picking out cool clothes for some of Hollywood's biggest and brightest. And best of all, Goldenvoice pays for Charlie's health insurance! Here is Olivia participating in a gag with Will and James Corden, and Charlie dealing with a riot outside The Roxy just a few months in to his new job.

We've been just absolutely cranking for the last two months, as have most in our industry. Very grateful for that. Cranking on gigs means no time for blog entries, so rather than showing 12 different ones, here is one of the funnest and biggest. D23 is of course the official fan club for all things Disney. The passion is so deep there is also a huge convention called D23, giving more access to lovers of The Mouse. Right Brain brought us along to build a big booth for them/Hulu, and Damminger Productions had us put up a big LED screen to premiere the new Pinocchio movie. Always upbeat and happy, unlike some of the political haters on them. Next time you are in Chianti, visit the little medieval village of Collodi – that's where Carlo Collodi was born, and he wrote the tales of Pinocchio there.

Super sweet to get invited to this one again. I was told that this one got 100 million views – it had to be the studio it was shot in, right? Once again a super-fun, super-pro collaboration with the Television Academy at our studio in Atwater. As the client's tech guy said; "most stressful 12 minutes of my year!" Indeed, no room for any failures of any kind. All went off super Smooth. Talent worth honoring!!

Terrific to be back at USC live, supporting the 2022 graduation. We've done this virtually for the last two years, and although we certainly livestreamed everything, we were there with the 70,000 other folks celebrating the epic accomplishment of about 19,000 students. We did LED screens and cameras and lighting and rigging, etc. We used the silly-simple, but extremely effective, Marching Order software to get the names of thousands of kids up on screens as they walked across the stages to collect their diplomas. Bittersweet, as my second and last kid also graduated from college this year.

¡Felicidades a todos!

We were all so excited and frankly surprised when our keynote speaker for GLAAD in New York didn't cancel. The producers booked Karine Jean-Pierre to speak, which would have been inspiring. However, 5 days before our event, Karine was named the new White House Press Secretary. Amazing! We would have given her a pass if she had to back out of our event, but she didn't! So lucky to be working with Germansky Communications to pull off these big events in both LA and NY. We did all LED, cameras, playback, lighting and broadcast truck. Thanks for the great gig, Eric!
